As part of the Professional Services, Practice Delivery team, the Software Implementation Consultant I is an entry-level consulting role. This consultant will serve as the primary liaison for regional customer engagements and as a supporting liaison for national and enterprise engagements. The goal is to implement leading practices that optimize workflows and achieve business outcomes in Long-Term and Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) settings. The consultant will be diligent, customer-focused, agile, transparent, and an effective communicator. They will build strong customer relationships to become a trusted advisor, guiding customers on recommended business practices and how to use the solution to deliver value and impact. The successful candidate will lead an in-depth analysis of customers’ desired business processes, operations, and practices, and will oversee configuration and setup. Working within a high-performing, cross-collaborative team, the consultant will be a key driver of customer value and solution adoption. The role requires up to 30% travel to customer sites and regional meetings.
The Software Implementation Consultant reports to the Manager, Professional Services.
Key responsibilities include acting as an implementation liaison to document customer requirements, translate technical requirements into configuration setup, and document business goals; supporting business discovery and developing recommendations for delivery approaches that drive outcomes and value; translating technical requirements and executing system configuration for low-complexity projects; ensuring data quality, integrity, and security for all customer databases; assessing and validating implementation plans and maintaining communication among stakeholders; troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues with close attention to detail; updating and maintaining training databases with new releases, enhancements, and leading practices; translating customer requirements into solution configurations to improve efficiency and outcomes; establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through strong communication and collaboration; proactively identifying and communicating issues, risks, escalations, timelines, and delays in partnership with the project team to ensure a great customer experience and successful implementation; supporting customer change management strategies, including plans for user readiness and acceptance; developing and maintaining expertise across multiple product offerings, including end-to-end solution knowledge and the value outcomes; traveling to customer sites when needed to support discovery and configuration documentation; and a split of 75% configuration and 25% consulting.
Required experience includes post-secondary education in a business or technology-related field (preferred); excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills; prior experience configuring or implementing software solutions, database testing, and end-user support (preferred); strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to quality validation processes; consulting experience in a software organization conducting workflow analysis and documenting and delivering recommendations for operational excellence; experience supporting multiple project teams simultaneously while meeting milestones and objectives on time; proven ability to take ownership of projects, show initiative, and deliver results; ability to work independently as a self-starter, prioritize to meet deadlines, and adapt priorities while sharing client insights in a flexible manner; a results-oriented mindset and a can-do attitude with adaptability, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; 0 to 1+ years in a software implementation role; and healthcare market experience (preferred).
Base pay is $75,600–$81,300 per year. At PointClickCare, base salary is one part of the total rewards package. The US base salary range for this position is $75,600–$81,300 plus bonus and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by job and level, and the range shown reflects target new-hire salaries across all US locations.
