Minted is a design marketplace that sources creative work from independent artists around the world and sells the best designs to customers through art, home décor, and stationery. We are seeking Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to deliver exceptional support.
CSRs use their problem-solving skills and strong communication to help customers directly across multiple channels—phone, email, and live chat. Reporting to a Customer Service Team Supervisor, CSRs must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable working with a range of systems and technology. Minted CSRs are highly patient, empathetic, and dedicated team members whose top priority is providing the best possible customer experience. The operation runs 7 days a week, and candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends. Hours and scheduling are variable.
**Responsibilities include:**
– Answer customer calls, emails, and live chats according to Minted policies and procedures, resolving concerns by providing accurate information with empathy and professionalism
– Support customers with questions about Minted products and promotions, general order details, and help process orders and customize designs
– Identify and escalate high-priority issues that require immediate attention
– Record customer interactions clearly and accurately in the CRM, following departmental guidelines
– Use support tools and training, including the knowledge base, to respond to inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction and high service quality
– Look for ways to improve the customer experience and share ideas with Customer Service leadership
– Meet the highest possible standards, taking ownership of your Quality and Productivity KPIs
**You are:**
– Able to resolve customer concerns efficiently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
– Able to follow direction and quickly learn new procedures, processes, and products
– Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement while working toward personal and team goals
– Comfortable with technology; eCommerce experience is a plus
– Able to reliably work a flexible/variable schedule that includes weekends, based on business needs, and follow the company attendance policy
**You have:**
– A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent customer service experience
– 1+ years of customer-facing experience (preferably with a premium brand)
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Strong attention to detail, good organization, and follow-through
– Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
**Compensation:**
Compensation for this role is based on Minted offers. Offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to support continued salary growth during employment. The upper portion of the range reflects that growth and supports Minted’s commitment to long-term relationships with employees.
Minted uses a market-based pay model with four geographic tiers. Final pay is based on the candidate’s primary work location—defined as living within 60 miles of a metropolitan area:
– **Geo 2:** Boston, MA; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; Austin, TX; Atlanta, GA; Portland, OR — **$19.19/hr to $25.19/hr**
– **Geo 3:** All other U.S. metro areas — **$17.62/hr to $23.12/hr**
Salaries vary based on factors such as professional and academic experience, job responsibilities, and other business or organizational needs.
