Service Asset & Configuration Management Analyst
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join Direct Line Group, a market leading insurer based in Bromley. We’re just 15 mins from Victoria!
The role holder will coordinate, analyse, document and report on asset and configuration management in order to ensure that service assets and configuration items are managed effectively to improve and maintain service performance, quality and stability
In addition, the role holder will coordinate Software License activities and ensure DLG is compliant with Software License terms.
Working within a small team, and for the Service Asset and Configuration Lead, the role holder will join DLG at an exciting junction for the group, as we deliver against our future transformation strategy for the group, and look to maximise the value from our Service Asset & Configuration Management capability.
Some key focuses will be
- Understand and coordinate Configuration Management plans within the agreed Configuration and Asset management framework (including infrastructure, applications and asset management)
- Provide education, guidance, support, to help adoption of and adherence to Configuration, Asset management processes.
- Coordinate and execute the identification, control, monitoring and verification of the Configuration Item links.
- Manage changes to CI data through a controlled process.
- Work with 3rd party service providers to produce audits, establish baselines, develop reports, metrics performance indicators and drive improvements in CI data quality.
- Identify opportunities for improving service operations processes to drive cost and process efficiencies.
Essential Skills
- An individual able to work on their own and collaborativly, who can communicate well and engage/influence to build trust
- Experience of an implementation and/or maturity of a Configuration/Asset Management capability within an organisation
- Demonstrable ServiceNow experience (preferably inc ServiceNow’s Discovery/Mapping capabilities)
- Service Management / Delivery experience (preferably ITIL qualified)
Desirable Skills
- Able to assess and evaluate risk
- Cost / Business Management experience
