At Appcues, content isn’t just another marketing task. From the beginning, our founders prioritized creating high‑quality, ungated content that genuinely helps users and advances our industry. That commitment has led to the development of standout resources over the years—from top-of-funnel assets like our award-winning Appcues Blog and the Product-Led Growth Collective, to structured learning programs such as Product Adoption Academy, and interactive tools like the Product Launch Planner. And we’re only getting started.

We’re searching for an experienced Senior Content Marketing Manager who gets energized by ambitious goals and knows how to turn educational content into a true growth driver. We have a strong product story, passionate customers, and rich product experience data to build from. The opportunity is substantial.

If that excites you, you’re our kind of person.

About the Role
• Oversee Appcues’ entire content production engine, ensuring every project is scoped correctly, delivered on time, and held to a high quality standard.
• Align content priorities with customer needs and business goals while partnering closely with product marketing, product, sales, and CX.
• Lead the content atomization process—breaking big ideas into numerous impactful assets that perform across channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn, our blog, email, and more.
• Develop and execute distribution strategies that maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Track and report on content performance, continuously improving based on insights.
• Coach and support junior team members and freelancers as our content operations grow.

About You
• You’re both strategic and hands-on, able to turn complex product ideas into compelling content stories.
• You’ve managed full-funnel content programs at SaaS startups for at least five years.
• You understand SEO deeply but also know that traditional playbooks are outdated—and you’re motivated by that.
• You’re familiar with sales-led and product-led growth models and understand content’s role before and after the sale.
• You’re skilled at building content calendars and managing complex workflows across multiple stakeholders.
• You grasp technical concepts and can translate them into clear, benefit-driven messaging.
• You’re an AI trailblazer, already using AI tools to significantly elevate your impact.
• You take initiative and don’t wait for direction to seize opportunities or solve problems.
• You’re endlessly curious, always probing with “why?” and “what if?” to uncover strong angles.
• You have a sense of humor—we don’t do dull, corporate content. We want to get results and enjoy the process.

Salary range: $95,000–$120,000 annually.

Note: Appcues uses market data to determine compensation ranges, relying on third-party sources. This range applies to all U.S.-based candidates and reflects Greater Boston market data, regardless of where employees live. It covers salary only and excludes equity, 401k match, and other benefits such as office setup, tech budgets, education stipends, and coworking reimbursements. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and other lawful considerations. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation is adjusted based on local labor markets. Recruiters will discuss specific ranges during introductory calls.
