An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Bioinformatician with good programming knowledge to work in theTeichmann Group.

The Teichmann group is an internationally recognised lab that produces high quality and pioneer research in the fieldof single cell genomics. The lab is investigating several diverse aspects of eukaryotic gene expression and signallingat the single cell level. There are many scientists from different disciplines that utilise state-of-the-art genomictechnologies to perform cutting edge science.We are seeking someone to provide support for the management, publication and analysis of large and complex genomics datasets generated within the group and to aid with the integration of data between all of the research personnel.

This post would suite a candidate with a strong aptitude for programming, e.g. using Perl, Python or perhaps the R statistical programming language. Experience ofworking with databases (e.g. Oracle or MySQL) is a must.
