We are looking for a skilled and detail‑driven Salesforce QA professional to join our Engineering & Development Services team. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of manual Salesforce testing experience and a basic understanding of Copado for test automation. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications while working closely with developers, solution engineers, and customers to identify and resolve potential issues. You will partner with technical teams to verify that software and configurations meet defined acceptance criteria, supporting smooth and successful deployments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive manual testing on Salesforce applications to validate functionality, security, and performance.
• Work with developers, solution engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop detailed test plans and test cases.
• Create, document, and execute test strategies that match customer requirements and configurations.
• Run test cases, record outcomes, track defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure prompt resolution.
• Use Copado and other Salesforce tools to automate repetitive tests when appropriate.
• Identify, document, and validate the resolution of bugs and issues.
• Provide ongoing feedback to improve application quality and testing practices.
• Operate within an Agile environment.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and testing best practices.
• Produce clear, thorough documentation covering functionality and acceptance criteria.
• Adhere to project timelines, maintain high quality standards, follow QA processes, and recommend improvements.

The Skill Set:
• 5+ years of experience in software QA, ideally in SaaS implementations or customer‑facing roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to understand customer processes and turn them into effective test cases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with customers.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality in custom deployments.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Preferred: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer.
• Hands‑on experience testing Salesforce configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience in telecommunications, utilities, or energy industries.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.

Within 90 Days, You’ll:
• Gain a deep understanding of the Sitetracker platform, its implementation process, and core features.
• Build foundational knowledge of Salesforce, focusing on Sitetracker’s customizations and workflows.
• Shadow experienced Solution Architects and Analysts to contribute to test planning, test case development, and test execution for smaller projects or parts of larger ones.
• Begin learning the specific business requirements of Sitetracker’s major clients through documentation review and customer meetings.
• Collaborate with implementation and engineering teams to understand how Sitetracker’s custom solutions are delivered.

Within 180 Days, You’ll:
• Independently manage QA activities from planning through execution and defect tracking, ensuring EDS delivery meets acceptance criteria.
• Help refine QA processes by offering insights and suggesting improvements.
• Serve as the primary QA contact during implementations, communicating test results and issues clearly and professionally.
• Manage QA responsibilities across multiple customer implementations with varying timelines.
• Identify opportunities to introduce or expand test automation for future efficiencies.

Within 365 Days, You’ll:
• Take full responsibility for QA on complex or high‑visibility Sitetracker projects, working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Play a key role in shaping the QA strategy by highlighting process, tool, and collaboration improvements.
• Mentor new team members, sharing best practices and insights gained from experience.
• Lead the integration of automated testing into standard Sitetracker implementations to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Help ensure successful customer go‑lives by delivering stable, reliable products backed by regression and smoke testing, test case results, and automation outputs.
• Be recognized as a trusted QA expert by both Sitetracker teams and clients.

About Sitetracker:
Sitetracker was founded a decade ago to solve a growing problem first identified in the telecommunications industry: managing the volume, variety, and speed of critical infrastructure projects needed to expand wireless and cellular networks. The rise of 5G has only intensified this need. Effective infrastructure deployment is now a key differentiator for leading telecom providers.

Over time, it became clear that this challenge extends far beyond telecommunications. Utilities, smart cities, and alternative energy organizations face similar issues. Sitetracker is the only end‑to‑end project management platform designed to support these industries and address their unique demands.

We are extremely proud of our company and culture. We were recently recognized as the #2 place to work in San Francisco and as one of the top workplaces in the United States. Our team is exceptional, and we continue to invest in a strong, people‑first culture.
