Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative as we begin our next phase of growth. As the first hire in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates in time zones from GMT‑8 (US Pacific) to GMT‑3, but we may consider applicants from other time zones depending on the circumstances.

**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from identifying and reaching out to potential clients to closing deals—with support from the founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a strong foundation in software development and the tech industry will help you communicate our value clearly to prospective customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and contacting new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, industry events, and conferences
• Developing and executing sales strategies focused on key markets (startups and business innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that show how our solution addresses customer challenges

**About you**
You’re highly motivated and have solid experience in business development. You naturally build and maintain relationships, and you stand out because you:

• **Build relationships well:** you excel at forming partnerships and turning your network into customers
• **Think strategically:** you understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
• **Understand technology:** you may not be an engineer, but you know enough about the digital space to explain our value clearly

**General requirements**
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in the tech industry
• Proven ability to create new business opportunities

**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote, with no physical office
• Priority for candidates in the United States with legal authorization to work
• Secondary consideration for candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap with the US East Coast time zone for 4–6 hours on most business days
• Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed work location
