Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative to help usher in our next phase of growth. As the first hire in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. Candidates located between GMT‑8 (US Pacific) and GMT‑3 are especially welcome, though we may consider other options depending on the situation.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
With support from the founding team, you will take part in the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a foundational understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our solutions to potential customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to new prospects
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Developing and executing sales strategies for core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to translate customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering demos and presentations to show how our solution addresses customer challenges

**About You**
You’re proactive and have solid experience in business development. You naturally build and maintain relationships—and the reason you stand out is that you:
• **Take ownership:** You want to lead the end-to-end process and help drive company growth
• **Build relationships:** You’re skilled at forming alliances and turning contacts into customers
• **Think strategically:** You understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
• **Understand technology:** You may not be an engineer, but you’re familiar enough with digital topics to clearly explain our value

**General Requirements**
• Native or near-native English proficiency
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in the tech sector
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities

**Remote Work Policy**
• Fully remote role with no physical office
• Preference for candidates in the United States who are authorized to work there
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Most days should overlap with the US Eastern Time zone by 4–6 hours
• Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed work location
