Piton Labs is seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to expand our team as we move into our next phase of growth. As the first hire for this role, you will own key responsibilities to grow our customer base and build new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates located in the GMT‑8 (U.S. Pacific Time) to GMT‑3 time zone range, though we may consider other time zones depending on the circumstances.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will take part in the full sales cycle—from identifying and proactively reaching out to potential customers, to closing deals—with support from the founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a solid software development foundation and an understanding of the tech industry will help you communicate our value more clearly to prospects.

Your core responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to new leads
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences
• Creating and executing targeted sales strategies for key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through ongoing communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that explain how our solutions address customer challenges

**About You**
You are highly self-driven and have solid business development experience. You naturally build and maintain relationships—and you stand out because you:

• **Build relationships well:** You can foster partnerships and turn your network into customers
• **Think strategically:** You understand market dynamics and can position our technology effectively
• **Understand the technical side:** You may not be an engineer, but you know the digital space well enough to clearly explain our value

**General Requirements**
• Native-level English
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally with a background in tech
• Proven ability to develop new business

**Remote Work Policy**
• Fully remote, no physical office
• Priority: candidates in the United States with legal work authorization
• Secondary consideration: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Most workdays should overlap by 4–6 hours with U.S. Eastern Time
• Ideal for digital nomads without a fixed work location
