Full-time Live Technical Support Representative (40 hours/week; working Saturday and Sunday required; days off Tuesday and Wednesday) — $40,000 per year plus additional benefits — Open to applicants in CA, ID, OR, TX, WA

Porkbun is a fully remote domain registrar and is hiring multiple full-time Technical Support Representatives within the United States. Applicants must live in California, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.

We offer more than 500 domain extensions, from .com to .pizza to .plumbing. Our user-friendly platform and competitive pricing have fueled rapid growth. Developers and tech-savvy users appreciate us, and budget-conscious customers know our low prices don’t come at the expense of support quality.

Typical customer requests include:
• Connecting a domain to Shopify
• Transferring a domain to Porkbun
• Troubleshooting a website that isn’t working
• Purchasing WordPress hosting
• Resolving failed payments
• Connecting hosted email with Outlook
• Curious questions like why we’re called Porkbun

You should have professional or personal experience with domains, hosting, or DNS. Strong experience in live technical support may also qualify you. We’re looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and experience providing customer support via email, chat, and phone.

Key qualifications:
• Ability to provide excellent real-time phone and chat support under pressure
• Strong written communication skills for professional emails
• Genuine interest in helping customers
• Strong problem-solving ability
• At least two years of experience in technical support in a helpdesk or customer-focused role
• Knowledge of domains, hosting, and DNS
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Willingness to work remotely
• A sense of humor for (or about) bad puns

This role supports expanded coverage across U.S. time zones, with a focus on handling phone and chat requests.

Schedule: Thursday to Monday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time
All shifts are 8 hours and include one paid hour of breaks

Compensation: $40,000 per year plus benefits

Benefits include full individual medical, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days, as well as a Simple-IRA retirement plan with a 3% employer match after one year.
