Piton Labs is seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to join our team and keep expanding our business as we enter our next phase of growth. As the first hire in this role, you will be a key driver of expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates whose working hours fall between GMT-8 (US West Coast) and GMT-3, but we may consider other time zones depending on the situation.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will be involved in the full sales cycle—from identifying and developing leads to closing deals—with support from our founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but a strong understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value we deliver to prospective customers.
Your core responsibilities include:
• Finding and reaching out to new leads
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and industry conferences
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into actionable requirements
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication
• Delivering product demos and presentations to show how our solution addresses customer challenges
**About you**
You’re proactive and have solid business development experience. You can naturally build and maintain relationships, and you stand out because you:

• **Understand technology (not necessarily as an engineer):** You may not be an engineer, but you’re knowledgeable enough about the digital space to clearly explain the value we deliver

**General requirements**
• English at a native or near-native level
• 4+ years of business development experience, ideally in a technology-related environment
• Proven ability to create new business
**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote role with no physical office
• Preference for candidates located in the United States with valid work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Most workdays should overlap with US Eastern Time by 4–6 hours
