Piton Labs is seeking a highly motivated and responsible Business Development Representative to support our next phase of growth. As the first person to hold this role, you will play an essential part in expanding our client portfolio and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located between GMT‑8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT‑3, but applications from other regions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities and expectations
You will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract close—with support from the founding team. Deep technical expertise is not required, but a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential customers.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to prospective clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Developing and executing targeted business strategies for our key markets (startups and enterprise innovation teams)
• Working closely with the engineering team to convey customer needs and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication
• Delivering demos and presentations that show how our solutions meet customer needs

Desired profile
You are highly driven and have a strong background in business development. You excel at creating and maintaining professional relationships, and you stand out for:
• Ownership: you manage end-to-end processes and help shape company strategy
• Relationship building: you develop partnerships and convert opportunities into customers
• Strategic thinking: you understand market trends and can position our technology effectively
• Technical awareness: you are not an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to clearly articulate our value proposition

Basic requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• At least four years of experience in business development, ideally within a technology company
• Proven track record of acquiring new customers

Remote work policy
• Fully remote role, with no physical office
• Preference for candidates legally authorized to work in the United States
• Next preference: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap four to six hours of work with the U.S. East Coast time zone on most days
• Suitable for digital nomads—no fixed place of residence required
