Piton Labs is looking for a Business Development Representative to join us as we enter our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates whose working hours fall between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3, though we may consider other situations depending on circumstances.
**Responsibilities and expectations**
You will participate in the full sales cycle—from outreach and prospecting to closing—supported by our founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a solid understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value we bring to potential customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to new prospective customers
• Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
• Developing and executing targeted business strategies for our key markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to turn customer feedback into concrete, actionable needs
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication
• Delivering presentations and running product demos that show how our solutions address customer challenges

**General requirements**
• Fluent or near-fluent English
• 4+ years of experience in business development, ideally in a technical environment
• Proven ability to generate new business opportunities
**Remote work policy**
• Fully remote role, with no physical office
• Preference for candidates based in the United States with work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap 4–6 hours with Eastern Time on most days
• Ideal for digital entrepreneurs without a fixed workspace
