Piton Labs is looking for a Business Development Representative who’s excited to join us as we enter our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and building new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates located in the GMT-8 to GMT-3 range (West Coast of the United States), though others may be considered case by case.
**Responsibilities & Expectations**
You’ll participate in the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects to closing deals—supported by our founding team. In-depth technical knowledge isn’t required, but having a solid foundation in software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate the value of our solutions to prospective customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
– Identifying and reaching out to new prospects
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Designing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
– Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer needs and feedback
– Building and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication
– Presenting and demonstrating our solutions clearly, and explaining how they meet customer needs

**General Requirements**
– Near-native English proficiency
– 4+ years of business development experience, preferably in a technical environment
– A proven track record of acquiring new customers
**Remote Work Policy**
– 100% remote (no physical office)
– Preference for candidates in the United States with work authorization
– Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to maintain a 4–6 hour overlap window with Eastern Time on most days
– Ideal for digital nomads (no fixed work location required)
