Piton Labs is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help drive our next stage of growth. As our first hire in this role, you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer pipeline and creating new strategic partnerships. Candidates located between GMT‑8 (U.S. West Coast) and GMT‑3 are strongly preferred, though others may be considered case by case.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, with support from our founding team. You don’t need deep technical knowledge, but understanding the basics of software development and the tech market will help you communicate our value clearly to prospective customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to potential customers
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Creating and executing targeted go-to-market strategies for our key audiences (startups and corporate innovation teams)
• Working closely with the engineering team to communicate customer needs and feedback
• Building and maintaining strong relationships through consistent communication
• Presenting and demonstrating our solutions, highlighting how they solve customer challenges

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
• Native-level English proficiency
• At least 4 years of experience in business development, ideally in a technology company
• Proven ability to generate new business opportunities
**REMOTE WORK POLICY**
• Fully remote company with no physical office
• Preference for U.S. candidates with legal work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap 4–6 hours per day with U.S. Eastern Time
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no requirement for a fixed work location
