We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager to guide a team in creating solutions for our federal clients.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of digital product management experience in a cross-functional, agile setting. Success in this role requires a strong consulting mindset, a user-first approach to prioritization, and the ability to build trust with a broad range of stakeholders in a complex environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and technical product skills are essential. This customer-facing role focuses on translating user and business needs into meaningful digital product features.
Coforma Product Managers act as both leaders and hands-on contributors. As leaders, they champion the team, make key decisions, and provide coaching. They serve as the main point of contact for business stakeholders and ensure alignment around a shared vision. As individual contributors, they analyze, define, document, prioritize, test, and iterate on functional requirements. They work closely with research, design, engineering, project management, and account teams to deliver continuous value to users and partners.
Working as a Product Manager in the public sector is both challenging and fulfilling. Success is measured by the positive impact on the public rather than revenue. Product Managers must blend technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and assess how their work affects public services. They play a critical role in connecting policy and technology to create digital services that genuinely help citizens. Understanding diverse stakeholder perspectives and collaborating with government Product Owners to promote service adoption is key.
If you’re driven to improve lives through digital products and services, Coforma could be a great match for you.
