Job Summary:
We are seeking a Remote Data Entry Clerk to help maintain accurate, current information across our databases and systems. The ideal applicant will type efficiently, pay close attention to detail, and work well independently. This position plays an essential role in keeping our data dependable and easily accessible for our team and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter data into various systems and databases from source documents with accuracy and within set timeframes
• Check data for errors or inconsistencies, correct issues, and review final outputs
• Confirm data accuracy by comparing entries with source materials
• Update current records and retrieve information as needed
• Conduct routine data backups to protect information
• Maintain organized files and records for easy access
• Work with team members to resolve data-related issues or discrepancies
• Protect sensitive information and uphold confidentiality standards
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or a similar position
• Strong typing speed and accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify mistakes
• Comfortable using data entry tools and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional data management training is beneficial
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working remotely and using virtual collaboration tools
• Knowledge of data protection practices and regulations
