About our application process

This is the beginning of your journey as an Omni contractor. Once you join our community of remote customer support professionals, you’ll gain exclusive access to all open contracts.

Start by clicking “Apply Now” and completing your profile. You’ll take a short online assessment that takes about 15 minutes. If you qualify, you’ll receive an invitation within 24 hours to log in to our online portal to view and apply for contracts that match your interests. Be sure to review the technology requirements before applying.

Overview

Omni works with many clients. Qualified independent contractors provide customer service—handling inbound calls, chat messages, and emails—for Fortune 500 companies.

You’ll communicate with customers primarily via phone and, in some cases, chat or email, assisting them with their needs.

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling options
Most work occurs on weekdays during daytime hours

Earnings:

Earnings vary by client, typically ranging from $14 to $20 per hour
Pay depends on your call status while assisting customers
Additional incentives may be available depending on the client and performance

Required skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong customer service background
Attention to detail and solid problem‑solving abilities
Friendly, empathetic, and professional communication style
Self‑motivated, proactive, and resourceful
Comfortable using technology and computer software

Important information

Technology requirements:

A quiet, secure workspace
A personal computer with at least 8GB RAM (no tablets or Chromebooks)
A wired USB headset with a microphone
High‑speed wired internet with at least 10 Mbps download speed
Windows 10 or 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS)
Up‑to‑date antivirus software
A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad with an authentication app

Work environment requirements:

A quiet, distraction‑free area
An organized workstation

We currently cannot work with contractors living in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Washington, DC. A criminal background check is required.

We are able to work with contractors residing in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Contractual relationship: Your relationship with Omni Interactions is strictly contractual. You will remain an independent contractor throughout your assignment. Omni Interactions does not withhold taxes from your earnings. By signing your contract, you agree that you are not entitled to vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, workers’ compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance, or any other employee benefits.
