Position Purpose / Summary
The Testing and Support Analyst will work closely with the Product and Technology Team during the pre-release phase of the software development lifecycle process defining test scripts, performing user scenario product testing, and developing release documentation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Reproduce, document and report defects
Create test scripts from requirements or understanding of products
Follow scripts created by other team members
Develop and execute pre-release test plans for our products
Provide user/technical support for customers in the use of MyAgData software products
Other Duties and Responsibilities Based on Demand
Train customers, prospects and employees in the use of MyAgData products
Maintain customer interaction and support information in incident management tools
Author knowledge base articles and assist in maintaining an online knowledge base
Other duties as assigned or necessary
Qualifications
4-year degree with an Agricultural or Technical focus
Preference for 1-3 years of work experience in the Agriculture or Software Industry in a related role
Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a rapidly-growing, fast-paced early stage company environment
Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Strong knowledge of web, mobile, and software applications
Experience with issue tracking systems, i.e. Azure DevOps, Freshdesk, Jira
The ability to work with all levels in a professional manner
