UX Researcher, Qualitative Responsibilities
• Partner with product and business teams to pinpoint research areas
• Serve as a research thought leader and champion the needs of potential product users
• Plan and conduct comprehensive, custom primary research using diverse methods
• Create studies that examine both user actions and mindsets
• Work independently with minimal guidance
• Manage and prioritize research efforts in fast‑paced, uncertain environments, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of key insights to a broad group of stakeholders
• Present findings and recommendations in engaging and creative formats
• Collaborate with teams across design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing
• Produce insights that inspire new ideas and assess design effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree plus 10 or more years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, or product R&D; or a master’s degree plus 8 or more years of experience; or a PhD plus 5 or more years of experience
• Experience running in‑depth interviews or focus groups, as well as concept or usability testing
• Interest in and hands‑on experience with primary research
• Ability to turn research insights into strategic narratives

Preferred Qualifications
• Degrees in fields related to human behavior, including Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics
• Experience working with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development
