We are experts in technological transformation, combining human expertise with AI to build scalable tech solutions. With more than 8,000 CI&Ters worldwide, we have partnered with over 1,000 clients throughout our 30-year history. Artificial Intelligence is part of our everyday reality.

Important: If you live in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas, you will be required to work on-site at our local offices, according to our current attendance policy.

Role objective: Strategically manage programs and projects (with a strong focus on fixed‑scope/fixed‑price contracts), ensuring delivery within the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Serve as the main point of contact for defining, reviewing, and negotiating the SDLC with the client (including executive-level stakeholders), overseeing change request governance, and ensuring the operational and financial effectiveness of the portfolio. Drive growth, innovation, and business expansion with disciplined execution.

Main Responsibilities/Activities

Leadership and Team Development
Lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, growth, and psychological safety.
Develop successors and strengthen the management pipeline through ongoing coaching and feedback.

Fixed-Scope Project Management
Structure WBS, scope baseline, schedule, and budget; define critical paths, dependencies, and milestones.
Apply value and performance monitoring (e.g., EVM – CPI/SPI) and manage schedule and cost variances.
Ensure compliance with SOW/MSA, deliverables, formal acceptance, and completion criteria (Definition of Done/Acceptance).

Change Request (CR) Control and Negotiation
Run the formal CR process: triage, impact analysis, business case, and recommendations.
Negotiate CRs with stakeholders and executives, ensuring economic sustainability (margin) and timeline feasibility.
Maintain traceability between baseline and changes, ensuring transparent governance.

SDLC Definition, Review, and Negotiation with the Client
Design and tailor the SDLC (agile, hybrid, or waterfall) to the project context and contractual constraints.
Define and negotiate stage gates/tollgates, quality criteria, DOR/DOD, release governance, and documentation standards.
Lead executive discussions to balance time-to-market, risk, compliance (security/privacy/SoX when applicable), and cost.

Business Strategy and Roadmap Execution
Translate strategic objectives into delivery plans; prioritize initiatives based on value and contractual constraints.
Promote integrated portfolio management, removing end-to-end bottlenecks across the value stream.

Resource, Budget, and Schedule Management
Plan capacity and required profiles; optimize allocation to meet the baseline and financial goals.
Track burn rate, margin, variances, and forecasts; trigger corrective actions when needed.

Metrics and Performance
Establish and monitor delivery metrics (on-time/on-budget, CPI/SPI, lead/cycle time, throughput), quality metrics (defect leakage, rework), and business metrics (CSAT/NPS, adoption).
Report operational and financial performance, identifying improvements and implementing corrective/preventive actions.

Lean/Agile Methods and Operational Excellence
Apply Lean/Agile principles pragmatically within fixed-scope projects (cadences, WIP limits, visual management).
Promote continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and the use of AI/GenAI when they provide clear benefits.

Strategic Relationships and Governance with the Client
Build executive-level relationships; facilitate steering committees and governance rituals.
Negotiate scope, cost, and schedule trade-offs based on data and risk.

Risk Management and Compliance
Identify risks and assumptions; implement responses and contingency plans.
Ensure adherence to policies, security, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Pre-sales and Expansion
Support proposals (estimates, schedules, approach/SDLC, risks, assumptions) and conduct due diligence.
Connect client problems to sustainable value propositions (land & expand) with contractual discipline.

Tools and Processes
Implement and manage project/portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira/Advanced Roadmaps, MS Project, ServiceNow, Power BI).
Establish critical processes, clear RACI structures, documentation standards, and approval workflows.

Requirements (must-have)

Strong experience managing fixed-scope/fixed-price projects, with proven on-time/on-budget delivery and margin management.
Mastery of formal change request processes: impact assessment, executive negotiation, and baseline governance.
Experience reviewing, designing, and negotiating SDLCs with clients, including executive-level interactions (agile, hybrid, waterfall).
Strong financial management of projects: budgeting, EVM (CPI/SPI), forecasting, margin KPIs.
Ability to navigate contracts (SOW/MSA), formal deliverable acceptance, and completion criteria.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering executive communication (clarity, synthesis, data storytelling).
Risk and quality management: test strategies, acceptance criteria, change control, and rework prevention.

Nice-to-have
PMI/PMP certification (or equivalent) and/or training in management frameworks (PMBOK, Prince2).
Experience in regulated environments (security, privacy, audit) and collaboration with InfoSec/Compliance.
Experience with multi-project portfolios and executive governance (steerco).
Familiarity with SRE/operability for smoother integration between delivery and run.
English for executive communication (when applicable).

Behavioral Competencies
Executive negotiation and influence: ability to defend scenarios and trade-offs using data.
Results orientation and ownership: accountability for scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
Analytical and systems thinking: root-cause analysis, impact evaluation, and dependency management.
Decision-making under pressure: prioritization, crisis management, and transparent communication.
People leadership: coaching, feedback, and building high-performance environments.
Rigor and pragmatism: balance between process and agility without losing contractual discipline.

KPIs and Success Indicators
Delivery: percentage on-time/on-scope/on-budget, CPI/SPI, schedule and cost variance.
Changes: CR cycle time and approval rate, accumulated CR impact vs. baseline.
Quality: defect density/leakage, rework, first-pass acceptance rate.
Business/Client: CSAT/NPS, achievement of benefits/project OKRs, renewals/expansions.
Financial: margin per project/portfolio, forecast accuracy, controlled variances.
