PRODUCT MANAGER – LOCATION UK FLEX
THE ROLE
As the Portfolio Product Manager you will display a high degree of customer focus; work collaboratively with R&D leaders, participate in the identification of portfolio projects that support the product strategy for FinancialForce and be responsible for guiding program execution and governance.
This position requires someone with great interpersonal skills, you will need to work with many departments to ensure that the requirements of many stakeholders are incorporated in our products, additionally you will be comfortable communicating with individuals and teams from both technical and commercial backgrounds.
This role is office based and involves working closely with the FinancialForce development teams; a knowledge of the SCRUM methodology would be an advantage
RESPONSIBIILTIES
The responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Portfolio
Manage the Portfolio Backlog
Ensure each Portfolio Epic (Lex, Checkmarx, Encryption) has an owner and progresses through the Portfolio Kanban
Own and Manage the Release Planning process through the following stages
Portfolio Planning
Program Management (preparation between Portfolio and Face to Face Planning)
Identify shared components across Workflows
Ensure consistency in how compositions are built between workflows and with 3rd party applications by establishing patterns:
Design migration paths from the current solutions to the new workflows
Definition and design of the “configuration console” to help the system configurator manage and monitor compositions across Workflows.
Deliver the configuration console
Design dashboards giving “the expert/accidental/also/systerm administrator” personalised insight into their compositions
Define the models, metrics and performance indicators to measure and analyse the product portfolio
ERP
Work with other Product Managers to identify and plan features within the ERP backbone
Guide the ERP product direction and determine roadmaps for future releases
Work with the development team to design appropriate business solutions
Co-ordinate and communicate ERP deliverables across the product set
Define the models, metrics and performance indicators to measure and analyse the product portfolio

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a strong communicator used to achieving results by building effective relationships with working peer group.
Demonstrable experience of constructive persuasion and negotiation
Demonstrable experience of building a broad network of relationships with individuals within and external to FinancialForce
Demonstrable experience of consultation and coalition building
Demonstrable experience working as a product manager or business analyst
Deep understanding of ERP solutions
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Effective Decision Making – Engages in unfiltered dialog to arrive at decisions. Actively participates in defining what we do and how; actively listens and cultivates decisions from opposing positions, uses data to drive
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Must be a strong communicator with the ability to communicate to technical and commercial teams
Experience in customer facing positions either as a consultant, support or presales
Ability to adapt style and approach to different audiences
Managing multiple priorities
