Are you looking for an opportunity to work on a brand-new title with a team of highly respected game developers? Are you a reliable, thoughtful collaborator who enjoys working with a highly creative and talented team and directing it to smooth and predictable outcomes? Our team at Stoic, 4-time BAFTA nominated independent video game company, is seeking a mid-level Producer for development of Towerborne.
As a Producer your responsibility is to lead a cross-discipline development team creating content. You are responsible for keeping the team focused and productive. This is a key role that involves a high level of interaction with team members, outsourcing partners, project, and studio leadership.
What You Will Do

    • Lead with enthusiasm, humility, empathy, honesty, and respect.
    • Shape and drive production for multiple portions of our game and its live service.
    • Work with directors and leads to establish clear goals, creative vision, and “what good looks like” for your teams.
    • Accurately forecast our trajectory, identify risks, and actively work with the team to address.
    • Establish, drive, and communicate the long-term roadmap for the area of responsibility.
    • Create highly efficient pipelines for areas of responsibility.
    • Communicate with stakeholders to understand problems, solutions, and plans and bring pertinent information into planning discussions.
    • Set quality targets and drive processes to ensure those targets are being met.
    • Use data and analytics to inform decision making and ensure that decisions are made in a timely fashion and evaluated for efficacy.
Need To Have

    • The successful candidate will be passionate about helping our team achieve their creative vision.
    • 5+ years of experience in a Production role in games or software development.
    • 5+ years of experience developing and executing project plans.
    • 3+ years of experience leading, motivating and driving teams to success.
    • Shipped at least 1 AAA title
    • Strong understanding of agile development values and practices.
    • Strong logic and communication skills.
    • Negotiation, change management, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to successfully partner within the studio.
    • Sound decision-making based on data analysis, market knowledge, and personal judgment.
    • Assertive and motivated team player with a bias for action.
    • High degree of initiative, takes opportunities to make improvements.
    • Ownership mentality: accountable, invested in outcomes.
    • Humility and integrity.
While Stoic is a fully remote, forever remote workforce, this is a US-based role. The person filling this role will need to be located in the contiguous United States

United States Pay Range
$120,000 – $150,000 USD
This range is determined by several factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. It is subject to change and may be modified in the future
The final job level and compensation will be determined by the candidate’s work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business considerations
