WSM is looking for an accomplished Principle Cloud Architect with strong communication skills, experience in Hybrid Cloud Computing, and a passion for helping clients solve problems. Strong candidates will have demonstrated a growth mindset, be enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly, and demonstrated success applying gained knowledge to address business problems. This individual will lead the technical approach for Cloud & DevOps capabilities and oversight across multiple projects. Additionally this individual will work with WSM leadership and services delivery to create new offerings and demonstrate WSM’s thought-leadership in cloud adoption, DevOps and cloud managed services.
Other key responsibilities include:
Work with WSM leadership to define strategy and ensure successful execution
Support Sales to develop and scope solutions that meet client business and technical requirements.
Manag a team of Cloud & DevOps engineers to meet project deliverables
Review and improve processes and create repeatable methodologies
Contribute to quality assurance review activities
Create Artifacts such as surveys, questionnaires and documentation that can be reused for future engagements
Work directly with the client (from IT staff to C Level) to facilitate project deliverables
Be able to articulate solutions in terms of ROI and Business Value to the client
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
10+ years of progressively responsible technology and leadership experience
Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their needs into a technical solution
Large services project leadership delivery experience
Strong analytical problem-solving ability
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Sharp, disciplined, self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience
Public cloud architect/design, configuration and application migration experience
Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code experience
Demonstrated enterprise experience with the following technologies:
AWS, Azure and/or GCP
Containers
Chef, Puppet, Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Broad general technical knowledge that allows “big picture” understanding of the client’s needs
Understanding of security and audit best practices
Rock-star applicants meet the following criteria:
Experience with review and architecture of cloud-based network
Scripting experiencein Powershell, Python, Ruby, and/or Visual C#
Experience with cloud-based security tools and solutions
