The Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow conducts diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and other childhood behavioral and mental health concerns. The Fellow also provides individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and social skills group services for children, adolescents, and young adults. In addition, the Fellow performs psychological testing as needed to evaluate progress across multiple domains and provide clinical updates. All responsibilities are completed under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
**Essential Functions:**
– Conduct diagnostic interviews and evaluations with children and adolescents to address referral questions related to developmental and psychological presentations, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.
– Administer, score, and interpret required psychological assessments.
– Prepare psychological testing reports as requested, ensuring completion within established guidelines and in accordance with company policy.
– Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy services.
– Complete progress notes and other required documentation in a timely manner according to company procedures.
– Participate actively in peer review, consultation, and supervision.
– Engage in clinical supervision in accordance with state and local statutes and guidelines.
– Stay current on new developments in evidence-based interventions for a range of mental and behavioral health conditions.
– Support organization-wide monitoring of clinical quality and promote best practices.
– May consult with ABA teams at Caravel centers, including assisting with treatment planning, FBAs, and programming problem-solving.
**Caravel Pay Details:**
– $72,000 to $88,000
– Sign-on bonus
– Compensation depends on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside the stated range. **Qualifications:**
**Education:**
– Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from a regionally accredited institution
– Unlicensed and pursuing licensure by completing the required supervised hours in the state where the position is located
**Experience:**
– Experience focused on children and adolescents
– Psychological testing experience related to ASD and other developmental delays
– Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting a broad range of developmental, cognitive, and neuropsychological assessments
– Ability to write high-quality diagnostic testing reports in a timely manner
– Experience providing effective individual psychotherapy for children and adolescents and family therapy
