We are seeking skilled language specialists to support an ongoing project focused on reviewing and improving Portuguese (Portugal) customer service content. The position involves refining machine‑translated material to ensure accuracy, natural phrasing, and adherence to project standards.
What you will do:
• Edit and review machine‑translated customer service content with strong accuracy and consistency.
• Assess MT output quality and assign severity ratings when required, following project instructions.
• Create high‑quality human translations to serve as reference data for model training and quality checks.
• Follow established style guides, tone requirements, and terminology rules.
• Identify and report recurring MT quality problems and trends across batches.

• Language: Portuguese (Portugal)
• Content type: General customer service content
• Duration: Ongoing
• Workload: Intermittent, with tasks assigned as needed throughout the year based on client demand. Volume and timing may vary.
• Hourly rate: $17.01
Requirements:
• Native‑level proficiency in the target language and strong English ability.
• Background in translation, localization, or MT post‑editing.
• Knowledge of machine translation quality assessment and error identification.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work independently in an online setting.
Compensation: $17.01 per hour
