As a Senior Performance Tester, you will design, develop, and execute performance test plans to ensure the scalability, responsiveness, and reliability of our software systems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, development, and infrastructure teams to define performance requirements, test data, and environment considerations. You will also be responsible for running performance test scenarios successfully, analyzing results and metrics, and compiling test reports.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct stress, load, regression, and performance tests to confirm production readiness and validate stability and performance of software applications and infrastructure.
– Model performance scenarios, conduct initial analysis, and identify potential system and resource bottlenecks.
– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are captured in the test plan and that delivered solutions are consistent, coherent, and complete.
– Design, develop, and execute performance test plans across multiple projects by analyzing requirements, documenting outcomes, and collaborating to identify root causes.
– Evaluate non-functional requirements (NFRs) and determine the best testing strategy and approach.
– Collect, analyze, and report performance testing results to cross-functional teams.
– Understand Smile Digital Health products in detail to plan testing and other QA activities.
– Review performance test scripts to ensure they meet required standards.
– Recommend improvements to product performance and scalability.
– Design, build, and maintain performance test frameworks.
– Use JMeter (or similar tools) to create and run load and performance tests for APIs and web applications.
– Design and execute daily load benchmarks as well as larger, system-wide tests.
– Ensure that working hours are accurately reported in NetSuite daily or weekly, that most (or all) time is tracked as billable, and that the NetSuite project management tool is properly used.
– Track and report billable hours, a critical part of project management and customer delivery.

Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience in performance testing.
– Experience with service virtualization and performance test data management tools.
– Experience with application monitoring, alerting, and log tracing tools.
– Hands-on experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL databases.
– Strong technical documentation skills.
– Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
– Experience with MS Azure or another major public cloud provider is highly preferred.
– Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure CLI, distributed JMeter execution, OAuth 2.0 API authorization, and Linux bash is highly preferred.
– A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
