About the Role
Highspot is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic People Operations Specialist based in the UK who is passionate about delivering an exceptional employee experience. You will be hands-on, self-driven, and experienced across the full employee lifecycle. As part of a global HR team reporting to the Director of Global People Operations, you will lead People Operations across EMEA and ANZ, continuously evolving the function to meet both global and local needs while supporting regional and global HR Ops programmes. You will also partner closely with the Director, HR EMEA ANZ to support managers and employees with a wide range of day‑to‑day HR coordination.

What You’ll Do
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR Operations matters in EMEA and ANZ, responding helpfully and efficiently to employee and manager queries
• Maintain accurate employee records and updates in Workday and other HR systems, with strong attention to data integrity
• Assist with local reporting on turnover, holiday usage, employee lists, and related metrics
• Partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll data and changes are correctly captured and processed, including prompt resolution of payroll questions
• Oversee onboarding for new hires in EMEA and ANZ, ensuring a high‑quality experience
• Manage all benefits administration in EMEA in partnership with internal Reward teams and external providers, including researching potential new benefits
• Complete all employment-related documentation, such as new hire forms, salary updates, promotions, references, terminations, personal data changes, life events, and role changes
• Recommend and implement improvements to policies, processes, and procedures to enhance service delivery and the employee experience
• Contribute to EMEA and ANZ projects aimed at improving onboarding, engagement, and morale, while supporting global initiatives with the People Operations team in Seattle
• Manage AskHR service tickets promptly through Jira
• Collaborate closely with G&A partners, including HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Legal, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Facilities
• Help maintain high employee morale across the region and support a unified “one team” culture
• Assist with DE&I initiatives focused on EMEA and ANZ

Your Background
• Extensive experience providing operational HR support across Germany, France, Australia, and the UK
• Strong knowledge of employment laws in the UK, France, Australia, and Germany
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to individuals and groups
• Natural relationship‑building skills across all organisational levels
• Comfort working with ambiguity and autonomy, with the ability to create structure and processes as the EMEA and ANZ function grows
• Prior experience in payroll and benefits administration, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines with patience and a positive attitude
• Experience with HRIS, ideally Workday

• A passion for DE&I and experience supporting related initiatives
• Familiarity with Macbook, Gmail, and G‑Suite
