We’re committed to delivering safe, discreet, judgment-free virtual care through a team that genuinely cares.

Hey Jane is now looking to grow our team with a detail-oriented, human-centered, tech-savvy Patient Care Advocate who has experience with medication abortion and can provide excellent customer service on a full-time schedule.

This is a remote position that requires weekend hours. We are currently hiring for three part-time roles.

– Follow patients through their care journey and ensure timely follow-up
– Confirm, document, and report insurance eligibility information
– Keep accurate EMR records in accordance with HIPAA and privacy requirements
– Manage multiple priorities while remaining grounded, communicative, and reliable to both patients and teammates
– Maintain high accuracy and consistent follow-through, since even small details directly affect patient care; we value people who take pride in getting things right, ask clarifying questions, and make sure nothing is overlooked

Qualifications:
– A healthcare background (MA, PCA, CNA, or a similar clinical/patient-facing role) with 1+ years of experience in abortion care
– Ability to work effectively in both in-person clinic and remote environments
– Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
– Excellent triage skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in real time
– Exceptional communication skills and the ability to offer clear, compassionate guidance to patients during stressful or uncertain moments
– Proficiency with online tools and technology used to deliver care and communicate with patients
– Comfort supporting patients with sensitive health needs, including abortion and birth control
– Ability to follow protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies for patient care and documentation
– Experience delivering trauma-informed care, demonstrated by slowing down, adjusting tone, and responding with steadiness and respect during crisis moments
– Interest in continuous improvement to refine tools and operations to enhance care delivery
– Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time thoughtfully, and proactively communicate progress, changes, and follow-through to teammates

Bonus points:
– Spanish language proficiency
– Prior experience working remotely or in a hybrid role
– Experience working at a startup or other fast-growing company

Compensation: $30–$33/hour (higher weekend differential pay). At Hey Jane, we work to support equitable healthcare, challenge the status quo, and improve how people experience healthcare—and we bring the same commitment to our workplace. We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive environment and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and life experiences.
