The WelbeHealth PACE program helps seniors remain in their homes and communities by providing comprehensive medical care and community-based services. Our mission is to support the most vulnerable seniors with greater quality and compassion through a value-based model. The Senior Care Advisor evaluates PACE eligibility by building relationships with prospective participants, their family members, and their caregivers. As a trusted phone resource, the Senior Care Advisor guides eligible seniors through the WelbeHealth PACE enrollment process.

The Senior Care Advisor will work with market leaders, members of the clinical team, and others to ensure candidates reach enrollment. This may include helping prospective participants with the Medi-Cal application. Additional responsibilities include answering incoming calls, conducting follow-up calls, and making outbound calls to online leads.

Key requirements:
– Bilingual English/Mandarin or bilingual English/Cantonese required.
– Remote work is allowed, but the candidate must live in or commute to the Brooklyn, NY area.
– Schedule: Ability to work weekends and at least 30 hours per week.

Essential job duties:
– Demonstrate strong patience, empathy, and “courage to love” during every call; build relationships with prospective participants, caregivers, and outreach associates who may need support with enrollment.
– Support inbound campaigns by answering questions and identifying the underlying needs of prospective participants; educate them about PACE services and benefits to help expand our mission in the communities we serve.
– Make outbound calls to prospective participants who have shown interest in learning more about WelbeHealth PACE (not cold calling).
– Effectively manage leads that require follow-up calls.
– Provide the highest level of service on both inbound and outbound calls.

Job requirements:
– Associate’s degree preferred; alternatively, two (2) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
– At least one (1) year of experience in tele sales, customer service sales, Medicare, or PACE sales (Medicare/PACE experience preferred).
– At least one (1) year of call center experience.
– Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
– Medicare Advantage or PACE experience preferred.
– Medi-Cal knowledge preferred.

Benefits of working at WelbeHealth:
Use your sales skills in new ways as we continue to expand. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we work in an environment that is supportive and caring, where every person feels individually valued.
– Work/life balance: 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 observed holidays annually, and sick time.
– Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
– Career growth opportunities, including a strong record of hiring and promoting from within.
– Equity grants (typically for executives, but we want all team members to share in our success as a rapidly scaling company).
– Additional benefits.

The salary/wage range for this role is $24.82–$31.03 + bonus + equity. Total compensation will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications. $50,000 — $80,000 per year.
