Spreetail is seeking a proactive Transportation Operations Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between our brand partners and global transportation network. You’ll manage container movements from ocean to dray delivery, ensuring on-time, cost-efficient performance. This role drives process consistency through SOPs, rapid exception resolution, and strong communication with carriers, dray providers, and warehouses. You’ll verify documentation, negotiate carrier rates, and partner cross-functionally to resolve delivery issues. Fluency in Mandarin and English and 3–5 years of international freight forwarding experience (Trans-Pacific preferred) are required. Your impact will be measured through On-Time Delivery, Carrier Performance, Exception Resolution, and Brand Satisfaction.
What experiences will help you in this role

    • Serve as the primary transportation liaison for brand partners, coordinating ocean, port, and dray operations to ensure on-time, accurate delivery performance.
    • Establish and maintain SOPs, escalation paths, and communication channels with origin partners and carriers to drive process consistency and accountability.
    • Monitor and resolve container, booking, and delivery exceptions proactively to reduce cycle times and minimize accessorial costs.
    • Manage carrier relationships — negotiating rates, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Customer Service, and Warehouse Operations to resolve shipping issues and support continuous improvement across the transportation network.
How you will achieve success:

    • Business-proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
    • 3–5 years of experience in international transportation or freight forwarding, with Trans-Pacific trade lane experience preferred.
    • Strong ability to coordinate across carriers, dray providers, and warehouses to ensure smooth freight movement.
    • Skilled in using EDI systems, carrier portals, and shipment visibility tools to manage and track logistics operations.
    • Demonstrated bias for action, with a focus on execution, proactive communication, and problem-solving.
