The Role: This role provides test management and testing expertise for international development projects with a focused-on data migration supporting both development and business teams.
Reporting to the Project Manager, they will have overall responsibility for coordinating testing activities including the management and coordination of integration / end-to-end / acceptance test activities for data migration projects.
The job holder will be responsible for defining the Project test plan and coordination and management of all end-to-end testing / acceptance activities. The QA Manager will serve as a focal point on all quality matters, working across all internal and external organizations to ensure quality objectives are met, software defects are reduced, and to improve overall service quality and business / customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for definition of overall test plan including definition of end-to-end and acceptance test approach. Building test requirements, functional, non-functional and translating them into viable test plans.
    • Communication of test plan to all project stakeholders and business partners to ensure all testing activities are conducted in line with D&B quality expectations and policies.
    • Creation of Dashboards / Metrics to help convey the status of testing and highlight progress of testing to key stakeholders along with coordination of daily defect triage and reporting.
    • Management of coordination of test environments utilized during test execution and the ongoing assessment of test data. Ensuring that both environments and test data are fit for purpose, adherence to standards and highlight where improvements are required.
    • Accountability for management and tracking of project level QA/test risks ensuring timely communication of impacts to stakeholders. Documents non-compliance to policies, process and standards and assists in their resolution (thus supporting ISO 27001)
    • Provides guidance and Subject Matter Expertise to teams on D&B methodologies, policies and processes, educates them on their responsibilities/accountabilities for the purpose of achieving on-time and quality deliverables. Provides training on established processes and policies.
Key Requirements:

    • College degree or equivalent work-related experience in Computer Science or related field with QA certifications such as ISEB or ICEPT desirable.
    • Experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably with experience of formal SQA methodologies and techniques, and use of defect management and automated testing tools.
    • Understanding of the testing process and experience in creating test strategy, approaches and plans.
    • Ability to manage risk across complex data platforms.
    • Experience of managing and coordinating data migration projects
    • A results-oriented leader that has extensive experience in modern test methods and processes, have a proven track record in cross group management with demonstrated abilities to get results using defect containment practices, test automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ability to negotiate with business and technology partners to leverage synergies and raise the level of quality in D&B projects and products.
    • Experience in corporate/technology companies not just large technology outsourcers.
