Hi,

My name is Mafalda, and I’m the International Expansion Team Lead at TestGorilla. We’re a fast-growing HR tech startup helping teams make better hiring decisions—faster and without bias.

Over the past year, we’ve grown tremendously. More than 8,000 companies have replaced CV screening with our assessments to evaluate candidates in an unbiased, data-driven way.

As we scale our efforts in 2022 and beyond, we’re looking for a **Localization Project Manager** who’s passionate about languages, localization, and helping people land their dream jobs.

**What’s in it for you?**
– Help shape a fast-growing HR tech startup as an early team member
– Fully remote role with bright, motivated, and friendly colleagues around the world
– €30,000–€36,000 compensation (based on experience and performance) + share appreciation rights (SARs)
– Flexible working hours and vacation time
– Paid parental leave
– Remote work budget: €1,000 per year
– Learning and development budget: 3.5% of salary

**The job in a nutshell**
Localization at TestGorilla (what we call “international expansion”) is built on linguistic quality, a great team environment, and advanced technology. We’re responsible for translating and culturally adapting everything we create—starting with our scientifically designed skills tests (from coding to personality and cognitive ability tests) and extending to beautiful user interfaces and marketing campaigns that attract customers worldwide. Our work isn’t just about translation; it’s about giving customers and candidates an experience that feels local.

Because TestGorilla is a global SaaS product, our International Expansion team must scale to support our goals.

As a **Localization Project Manager**, you’ll work closely with the International Expansion Team Lead, build strong relationships with third-party linguists, and become a localization advocate within our cross-functional internationalization team.

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of our localization workflow, from creating requests through to job completion.

You’re highly motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. You can manage priorities and projects effectively, and you have the right balance of organizational and communication skills. Ready to start this exciting journey with us?

**You’ll spend your time on the following:**
– Manage localization projects and requirements across stakeholders
– Oversee end-to-end localization workflows using our translation management tools and systems
– Ensure high-quality results from localization vendors and freelancers
– Manage independent projects within the program
– Collaborate cross-functionally with TestGorilla stakeholders to spot key business blockers and solve or improve them
– Identify and manage project risks through prioritization, issue tracking, and other necessary methods
– Oversee localization budgets by collecting data on cost, timelines, and quality
– Support project kick-offs and planning meetings with cross-functional teams
– Help promote international expansion to stakeholders

**Here’s what we’re looking for:**
– You’re driven by our mission to put **1 billion people in dream jobs**
– You fully align with **our values** (https://www.testgorilla.com/careers)
– You have strong knowledge of industry-standard localization tools
– You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
– You have strong analytical problem-solving abilities
– You’re proactive and naturally innovative
– You pay close attention to detail
– You’re comfortable with the ambiguity and rapid iteration pace of an early-stage startup

*We typically look for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in localization projects that include language launches and/or software and creative content localization.*

**Bonus points if…**
– You’ve worked in a SaaS company and/or a fast-growing startup
– You’re multilingual

**Interested?**
We don’t do rainbow glitter unicorns or dog-friendly offices (we literally don’t have an office), but we do offer real people, strong core values, and a product designed to give everyone a fair, unbiased chance at their dream job.

At TestGorilla, we use our own assessment platform to ensure we make the best hiring decisions—faster and without bias.

If you think this role could be a great fit, please complete an assessment so we can better understand whether you’d be perfect for the position. It’s also a great chance for you to get to know our product.

If you’re hired, I’ll do everything I can to help you succeed at TestGorilla and throughout the rest of your career.
