Awesome opportunity for an experienced Linux Jedi to work remotely orin our office in Sydney, helping shape platform architecture for our start-up SaaS application.

Tectonicis a digital technology company delivering exceptional online projects for blue-chip clients. We’ve launched a SaaS product, Award Forcewhich is a focus of this position. We advocate for and use Agile and Lean principles across the business. Our team is partly remote, partly on-site in Sydney, fully set-up with all the tools and toys for both.

We’re looking for a Linux systems administrator experienced with Amazon Web Services, Chef, and a passion for DevOps and automation.

Our applications are built in PHP (Laravel), hosted on an AWS stack that consists of Linux (Ubuntu) EC2 instances, and various AWS services. We’re taking this to the next level for greater scalability and robustness, streamlining workflow to support business growth. Our technology stack already makes use of Chef, Berkshelf, Docker, Jenkins and NGINX.
