Piton Labs is looking for a dedicated and accountable Business Development Representative to help drive our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you will play a key part in expanding our client portfolio and building new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located between GMT‑8 (US Pacific Time) and GMT‑3, though applicants from other regions may be considered individually.

Responsibilities and expectations
You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, with support from the founding team. While you don’t need deep technical expertise, a basic understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value to potential clients.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Identifying and reaching out to prospective clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Developing and executing targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and corporate innovation teams)
• Working closely with the engineering team to relay customer needs and insights
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through ongoing communication
• Delivering presentations and demos that show how our solutions meet client needs

About you
You are highly driven and have a strong track record in business development. You excel at building and maintaining relationships, and you stand out for:
• Ownership: You take charge of end‑to‑end processes and help shape the company’s direction
• Relationship‑building: You develop partnerships and convert connections into clients
• Strategic thinking: You understand market trends and know how to position our technology effectively
• Technical awareness: You’re not an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to clearly articulate our value

Basic requirements
• Native‑level English proficiency
• Four or more years of business development experience, ideally in a tech company
• A proven record of generating new business

Remote work policy
• Fully remote with no physical office
• Preference for candidates legally eligible to work in the United States
• Secondarily, candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap four to six hours with US Eastern Time on most workdays
• Suitable for digital nomads, with no fixed location required
