SRE AT HINGE HEALTH

Site Reliability Engineers at Hinge Health are the engineers assuming the responsibility for all operational aspects of the Hinge Health runtime platform, including automation for self-service provisioning and configuring environments, containers, logging, monitoring, alerting, and relevant compliance and security automation associated with the platform. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative, cross functional environment.

THINGS YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Enable others by creating automation, tools, and collaborative workflow processes for engineers to ramp up new infrastructure capabilities
Own platform and infrastructure configuration and deployment
Ensure all systems are appropriately auditable, with automation for supplying evidence
Enhance and automate failover capability and resiliency to fault conditionsImplement exhaustive testing, logging and monitoring with relevant alerting
Actively manage risk and prioritize vital infrastructure work
Assist with automating continuous integration and continuous delivery systems
Aid with automated system-wide testing efforts (smoke testing)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A strong desire to learn!
Experience with one or more provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.
Programming exposure to a high-level language such as Python or Ruby
Operational expertise with cloud-hosted systems such as AWS or Google
An understanding of Docker
Ability to collaborate and problem solve across teams
Ability to participate in incident response when required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
1-2 years of Operations or Engineering experience, with experience working on projects involving process automation, systems administration, and/or general SRE activities

BONUS POINTS (These are nice to have, but not required!)

Prior experience with healthcare data (PHI/PII/HIPAA requirements)
Prior exposure working with KubernetesSystem and/or network administration
Prior experience with Sumologic
Experience developing software in Ruby on Rails or Node-based applications

Pursuant to State Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

Colorado & New York State annual salary: $93,000 – $140,000 USD
New York City annual salary: $110,000 – $160,000 USD
