About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, executing thorough testing, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams throughout project lifecycles
Estimate testing effort for agile stories and epics
Review user stories for clarity, completeness, and testability
Perform a wide range of testing: Functional, Regression, Exploratory, System, UI, and End-to-End (E2E)
Test across platforms: iOS, Android, and Web
Create and maintain test cases based on acceptance criteria
Execute tests, log defects, and track them in Jira
Collaborate with Developers and UX Designers to resolve issues
Maintain accurate test and project status in Jira
Proactively identify and communicate risks
Engage fully in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, retros, showcases, etc.
Continuously improve testing practices and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Manage priorities across multiple projects
Attend client meetings and provide technical insight and recommendations
Stay current with trends and tools in QA and technology
Contribute to the company culture by participating in internal events and activities
About You
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in manual testing of native mobile apps (iOS & Android) and responsive websites
Skilled in API and exploratory testing
Experience creating test plans and writing/executing test cases
Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., Jira)
Experience working in Agile teams and professional service environments
Ability to build strong client relationships
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
A positive, collaborative attitude and attention to detail
Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field (preferred)
