I am a Talent Analyst looking for people in Brazil for a Mid-Level Tester to work on a project in the Education industry.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mid-Level Tester with experience in Web Content Management (WCM) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and improving testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables. Experience in international projects, Agile environments, and automated web testing tools will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan, specify, and execute tests for web-based applications, with a focus on responsive web testing.

– Create clear, well-structured test cases and test documentation in English.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Agile frameworks to ensure testing activities are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.

– Apply knowledge of the testing pyramid to design effective test coverage strategies.

– Define and monitor quality metrics for the team and project.

– Participate in automated testing efforts using tools such as Selenium, Behat, Cucumber, or similar.

– Communicate test results, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders.

– Ensure web content management solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Must-Have:

– Proven experience in testing web applications, preferably in WCM or CMS-based projects.

– Experience with responsive design testing.

– Strong ability to write test cases and documentation in English.

– Understanding of the testing pyramid and how it applies to different levels of testing.

– Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

– Ability to define and track team quality metrics.

– Basic experience with or strong interest in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Behat, Cucumber, or Gherkin.

Nice-to-Have:

– Hands-on experience with Drupal CMS or other web content management systems.

– Participation in international or multicultural software development projects.

– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into automated deployments.
