Carr Engineering, Inc. has experienced tremendous growth and is searching for an IT Coordinator to join our team. Capitalize on your experience and play an integral part as we continue to expand while serving the nonprofit community. This is a virtual position so candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain company servers, routers, telephones, and other hardware

• Configure and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, Internet Information Services, and other services

• Configure and maintain employee computer equipment

• Continuously review, revise, and enforce company security policies following modern best practices

• Help co-workers research and resolve their software issues

• Support developer operations such as deploying periodic website and database updates

• Monitor product health and availability and quickly resolve or report issues

• Assist in the development of future hardware and software plans

• May need to work outside of normal business hours from time to time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college

• At least 2 years ofIT experience

• At least 2 years of experience administering Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience maintaining a variety of Microsoft desktop and server technologies

• Self-motivated and comfortable working in an autonomous environment

• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills for communication with multiple constituencies

• Ability to communicate complicated technical information in a clear and concise manner

• Excellent organizational skills to manage a multi-faceted workload

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

• Willingness to continuously update IT knowledge
