ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and fun IT Business Analyst to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization to create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications.

  • Full-time, 8am-5pm in your time zone

  • Work from your home office

  • Company-provided MacBook Pro, Internet stipend, etc

  • Must be located in the United States and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

  • Reports to: Director, IT/Project Management

  • Travel is required for an annual company meeting and may be required at certain points during the year for team or project meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate the creation of detailed project and development specifications and workflow diagrams involving multiple departments and stakeholders.

  • Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications for high-profile, client-facing web and mobile applications.

  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions to define business problems and proposed solutions on a project-by-project basis.

  • Uncover business and technology conflicts through detailed analysis of stakeholder requirements, existing application functionality, and technological capacity.

  • Contribute to systems design and application architecture, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.

  • Help stakeholders identify the current- and future-state organizational processes at the technology level.

  • Help departmental stakeholders envision the future application needs and capacities such that application continues to support the anticipated needs of the business.
