We participated in StartUp Weekend and got rave reviews for our app. Some very knowledgable people in the creative industry as well as the tech startup and funding sphere love what we are building – and so will you.

Jerome has a BA in Film/TV/Media and over 20 years of business experience to board level. He had a startup in London during the dot-com boom & bust, and worked for the original Seattle startup community. Gretchen has over 10 years experience looking after the IT infrastructure of diverse companies and industries, including multinationals. According to a Bloomberg research, we fit the profile of successful founders. 😉

We are easygoing and fun team (sic) of 6 (and growing!) and work out of the York Butter Factory alongside some amazing startups.

ABOUT YOU

As a lead iOS / Android mobile app developer on a consultant basis or full-time role, you have the passion and experience developing amazing mobile apps, and are keen to provide guidance and mentorship to our very smart interns.

Paid full-time work and/or options would be dependent on your dedication, commitment and contribution, along with revenue and/or funding – we believe we can get investors once we have a solid beta and some traction (which we already have waiting, in fact). However, if all goes well with the prototype, we may not even need funding. After all, Kogan grew to become one of the largest online retailers without any external funding!

Ideally, we would build both iOS & Android now but we are willing to start with an iOS-based MVP, to launch by end of January/early February. We are targeting March for beta launch.
