Hellometer is a Y Combinator funded startup that makes managing efficient fast food restaurants easy.

We use edge-deployed (i.e. non-cloud based) computer vision to analyze workplace camera feeds and generate operations recommendations. Founded by former Googlers, we are growing fast and are looking for a founding engineer who is passionate about real-world applied machine vision and ML.

What we’re looking for: CS Masters, or PhD and background in applied ML Experienced in developing production-level systems Passionate about computer vision (both software and hardware side) Logical problem solver (a lot of our work involves clever solutions to practical problems) Background in data-generation and model development Interest in combining machine learning and product work, from data generation and modeling, to tooling, infrastructure and business logic
