The role
Our Integration Analysts will work at the forefront of our Health research and development programs. They take a lead role in the provision of technical and diagnostic consultancy for the integration of clinical departmental systems, within the parameters of HL7 messaging language, and our products.
The role requires domain knowledge of PAS and EPR systems
Responsibilities
Managing interface engine
Writing message filters and conversion rules
Liaising with Hospital IT departments
Writing specification documents
Creating and maintaining data mapping tables
Maintaining high-availability/redundant systems
Skills & Experience
Knowledge of NHS and primary and secondary care services in particular.
Knowledge of HL7v2 and its implementation in the UK
Familiarity with Hospital Episode Statistics, ICD codes, OPCS4
HL7 Integration Engines and other Trust Integration Systems
SQL Databases
Has previous healthcare systems implementation/deployment experience in the integration for PAS and Departmental systems
Data and Interface analysis
Data Mapping of existing system-interfaces to CSC provided messages, reports and extracts
Identifying and documenting integration solutions using Extracts &/or messages
Development of alternate strategies to close gaps or retire requirements
Experience of data warehousing solutions
