The Intake Client Specialist handles a queue of incoming documents to set up new clients and update existing ones in the Customer Relationship Management system. This role works within service level guidelines to begin entries quickly while following agency-specific procedures and ensuring the highest accuracy for billing and compliance.

This is a fully remote role, and employees must live in Iowa. The starting pay is $17.00 per hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits available after 30 days. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible overtime.

Responsibilities may include:
• Reviewing Medical Service Authorizations and related documents to create, update, or close client accounts
• Communicating with Agency Case Managers via email, state messaging portals, and phone
• Troubleshooting and resolving account issues
• Collaborating with internal teams such as Logistics, Customer Care, Billing, and Compliance
• Supporting other departments with intake-related questions

Required skills and experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
• Previous data entry experience
• Strong analytical abilities with a high level of accuracy
• Effective and timely problem‑solving skills
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and use search tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced setting
• Consistently meeting productivity and quality goals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Genuine interest in helping others
• Experience following company policies and displaying core values
• Wired internet connection using an Ethernet port (cable or fiber only)
• Quiet, distraction‑free workspace

Preferred skills and experience:
• Some college coursework or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical billing terminology

Physical requirements:
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Mostly sedentary work involving long periods of sitting
• Sufficient vision for job tasks, including peripheral and depth perception and focus adjustment
