Superside is seeking an Experience Design Lead to craft and execute spatial and interactive brand experiences across AR, VR, and the 3D web. In this role, you’ll oversee projects from start to finish, shaping concepts, workflows, and cross‑functional teams to produce work that merges creativity, usability, and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership position centered on creative excellence, operational accuracy, and the strategic use of AI to push the boundaries of immersive design.

What You’ll Do
Lead immersive projects from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring both creative quality and smooth execution.
Drive ideation and establish the vision for immersive experiences, turning customer goals into inventive design solutions.
Direct and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 3D designers, visual designers, experience designers, and creative technologists.
Work closely with project managers, creative directors, and clients to align on concepts, objectives, scope, feasibility, and key milestones.
Ensure quality across visual, interactive, and technical components for cohesive outcomes.
Apply user-centered design principles to touchless interfaces within AR, VR, 3D web, and spatial environments.
Explore AI, AR, and spatial computing to improve workflows and inspire new creative approaches.
Champion innovation and design rigor within a fast-paced, global team.

What You’ll Bring
A strong background in experience or interaction design, supported by a portfolio featuring AR/VR, 3D web, and interactive physical installations.
Proven experience leading design teams or projects, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and coordinate specialists.
Strong conceptual and systems-thinking abilities, capable of turning abstract ideas into concrete experiences.
Proficiency with immersive platforms and tools such as Unity, Unreal, WebGL, Three.js, or XR prototyping software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, technical, and client-facing groups.
Comfort working through ambiguity and rapidly iterating during experimentation.
Hands-on experience with AI-driven design tools, including text-to-3D, LLM-based workflows, or generative style tools.
An eye for identifying how AI can enhance immersive design, along with the initiative to promote its adoption through testing, training, and advocacy.
