SemanticBits is looking for a Data Analyst with experience in Healthcare who is eager to use their domain knowledge and their skills in BI tools, SQL, and programming to rapidly turn data into insights.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years working in the healthcare industry (preferably with Medicare and/or Medicaid data) in a data analyst role.

• Bachelor’s degree with quantitative focus in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related field and a minimum of six years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrable expertise in basic statistics, SQL, and Python programming.

• Strong understanding of relational database and data warehousing concepts (e.g. OLAP, dimensional modeling).

• Minimum two years experience with BI tools, such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker.

• Strong technical communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to understand and articulate the “big picture” and simplify complex ideas

• Strong problem solving and structuring skills

• Ability to identify and learn applicable new techniques independently as needed
