CSC Big Data and Analytics is a high priority incubator unit with in the Emerging Business Group with focus on helping our customers accelerate their path to innovation through the introduction of breakthrough analytic, big data platform and data science consulting capabilities. We are currently looking for a Hadoop Engineer to join our team.

What you will do:

• Solution Architecture Role will be responsible developing Spark based solutions to support near real-time data ingestion, analytics, and reporting.

• Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing a solution, determining the effort to implement the solution, and possibly leading the team to implement the solution.

• Document solutions for long term support

• Travel to client site as needed

• Assist client support team with Spark related issue resolution
