Piton Labs is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support our next phase of growth. As the first person in this role, you’ll be instrumental in growing our client base and forming new strategic partnerships. We strongly prefer candidates located between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3, though exceptions may be made.
Responsibilities and expectations
You’ll be involved across the full sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals, with guidance from our founding team. While deep technical knowledge isn’t required, a general understanding of software development and the tech ecosystem will help you communicate our value effectively.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Sourcing and engaging potential clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Designing and executing sales strategies focused on startups and corporate innovation
• Collaborating with the engineering team to share client feedback and requirements
• Building and nurturing strong client relationships through ongoing communication
• Delivering presentations and demos that highlight how our solutions solve client problems

General requirements
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in a tech environment
• Demonstrated success in generating new business
Remote work policy
• Fully remote with no physical office
• Preference for candidates based in the US with legal work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Availability to overlap 4–6 hours with Eastern Time most days
• Open to digital nomads — no fixed location required
