Piton Labs is looking to hire a Business Development Specialist who’s enthusiastic about supporting our next stage of growth. As the first person to take on this role, you’ll help expand our customer base and build new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located in time zones between GMT‑8 (US West Coast) and GMT‑3, though we may consider other locations depending on the situation.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**
You will support end-to-end sales cycle management, from first outreach through deal close, alongside our founding team. You don’t need deep technical expertise, but having a strong understanding of software development and the technology industry will help you communicate the value of our solutions effectively.

Key responsibilities include:
– Identify and reach out to new prospective customers
– Represent Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for our core markets (startups and corporate innovation)
– Collaborate with the engineering team to present customer needs and extract market insights
– Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
– Deliver demos and practical walkthroughs showing how our solutions address customer challenges

**About You**
You’re results-driven with experience in business development. You can build relationships easily and grow them over time. You especially stand out if you have:
– **Initiative:** the drive to lead the full process and contribute to company growth
– **Relationship Building:** the ability to attract partners and turn knowledge into customers
– **Strategic Thinking:** an understanding of market trends and where to position our technologies
– **Technical Awareness:** not necessarily an engineer, but you understand the digital landscape well enough to clearly explain the value of our solutions

**General Requirements**
– Near-native English proficiency
– 4+ years of business development experience, preferably in the technology sector
– Proof of success in acquiring new customers

**Remote Work**
– Fully remote with no fixed office location
– Preferred: candidates from the United States with work authorization
– Second preference: candidates from Canada or Uruguay or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap 4–6 hours during most days with US Eastern Time
– Ideal for digital entrepreneurs who don’t have a fixed office location
