Piton Labs is seeking a committed Business Development Representative to support the next phase of our growth. As the first person in this role, you will be instrumental in growing our client base and forming new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located between GMT‑8 (US Pacific) and GMT‑3, though we may consider others on a case‑by‑case basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
You will be involved across the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—working closely with our founding team. While deep technical knowledge isn’t required, a general understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you clearly communicate our value.

Key responsibilities include:
• Sourcing and contacting potential clients
• Representing Piton Labs at events, conferences, and meetings
• Creating and implementing focused sales strategies for our key markets (startups and corporate innovation)
• Collaborating with the engineering team to share customer feedback and insights
• Building and sustaining long-term client relationships through consistent communication
• Delivering presentations and demos that highlight how our solutions solve customer problems

You are motivated and have a strong background in business development. You naturally build and maintain relationships, and you stand out because you:

• Build relationships: You’re skilled at developing partnerships and converting leads into clients
• Think strategically: You recognize market trends and know how to position our technology effectively
• Understand technology: You’re not a developer, but you have enough technical awareness to communicate our value clearly

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Native-level English proficiency
• 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in a tech environment
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients

REMOTE WORK
• Fully remote setup with no physical office
• Preference for candidates based in the US with valid work authorization
• Secondary consideration for candidates in Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
• Ability to overlap 4–6 hours daily with US Eastern Time
• Flexible, digital-nomad-friendly environment with no fixed location requirement
